🌈 June Birth Stats 🌈
June was a busy month for our team as we welcomed 22 Blue Heron babies into the world! It was an even split between baby boys and girls this month. Fun fact - 5 of these lovely babies were born at home 🏠 Congratulations to all families 💛

🌼 May Birth Stats 🌼
We welcomed 17 babies in the month of May - almost equal baby boys and girls. May 28th was a busy day for our team as 3 little ones made their grand entrance. Congratulations to all families!

Our team welcomed 20 little ones into the world in April! Fun fact: 4 of the deliveries this month were home births 🏠 April 1st and 28th were our busiest days with 3 babies born each day. Congratulations to all families!

Hello! My name is Alyssa, and I am a McMaster midwifery student thrilled to be joining the team here at Blue Heron for my 4th year senior placement.
My passion for midwifery comes from a deep belief that quality, compassionate care can be truly transformative for clients and their families. I am dedicated to supporting clients through every step of their journey with informed choice and individualized support.
Outside of Midwifery, I have a background in kinesiology. This is where my passion to become a midwife began as I researched the benefits of exercise in pregnancy. When I’m not in clinic, you’ll find me spending time with loved ones, often outdoors, rock climbing, or on the hunt for good coffee :)
I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to learn from the Blue Heron team and support clients during this important time in their lives. I look forward to meeting everyone!

In the blink of an eye, March has come and gone! Our team welcomed 17 little lucky charms into the world. March 22nd was our busiest day with 3 little ones making their big arrival - including a set of twins 👶👶 Congratulations to all families 💚 now it’s time for Spring! 🌷

Our team was busy welcoming 22 new little ones into the world in February. With some babies arriving early and others late, February 9th was the busiest day with 3 babies born. Congratulations to all families! ♥️
