St. Mary's General Hospital Foundation SMGHF is dedicated to raising funds in support of the care provided by St. Mary's General Hospital. The advanced patient care provided by the staff of St. Mary’s.

100% of new and replacement medical equipment is purchased with donated funds. Mary’s each day requires the use of innovative medical equipment. Funds donated by the community to St. Mary's General Hospital Foundation are directed to purchase this vital equipment - large and small; equipment not covered by Ontario Ministry of Health funding. Through appeal letters, special events and media opportunities, Foundation staff and volunteers are able to share stories of the patient centred care that is the hallmark of St. Mary’s General Hospital. Further, this allows us the opportunity to inform the community of the most imperative need for their financial support. In turn, the community partnerships formed by the Foundation financially support innovation and the use of state of the art equipment at St.
