Controversial topic…don’t come for me 🫣
I often get asked about my thoughts on Botox, fillers, and other more invasive treatments.
Here’s my honest answer — I’m pro you.
I fully support you doing whatever feels right and good for you.
Personally, I’m grateful I was born in the 80s and grew up in a time before filters, editing, and social media shaped how we see ourselves. It’s wild (and a little scary) how much it’s changed the way people view their own faces. I’ve yet to find a filter that actually looks like me, one that doesn’t change the shape of my face, lips, or eyes.
I’m 39 and haven’t dabbled in the world of Botox or fillers and I don’t think I ever will. It’s just not my jam. I have health anxiety, an autoimmune disease, and my main skin concern is redness and rosacea, which I manage through lifestyle, diet, skincare, and professional treatments (plus I love using my Omnilux mask 3–5 times a week at home!).
I love keeping my focus on the overall health of my skin. Don’t get me wrong, I do mourn my younger version of my under eyes and forehead but I love treatments like microneedling and targeted skincare that keep my skin looking and feeling its best. 💫
Long story short… we’re here for your journey — whatever that looks like. 🤍
