Are you familiar with that children’s book, When You Give a Mouse a Cookie? It’s kind of what happened here. One day I decided my office paint needed an update… and now I’m scouring the interwebs & touring the region’s HomeSense stores looking for the decor overhaul that followed the paint idea 🤣🤣. Can’t wait to see the new paint colour!

Finished off my day listening to the wisdom of Gabor Mate. As a CBT toting Addiction Therapist frustrated with why people weren’t changing, hearing Gabor talk about trauma back in the day before addiction work was really even talking about trauma was a complete awakening as to how we needed to do addiction work differently.
