Sarah Kraatz - Yoga

Sarah Kraatz - Yoga Yoga, Meditation, Barre, & Pilates instructor. Located on Bowen Island, British Columbia

Sarah began her yoga journey with a rigorous practice of Bikram Yoga in 2009. She immediately fell in love with yoga and its ability to bring a certain sense of peace and calm that she had never felt before. With a desire to learn more and explore the diverse yoga world she began practicing many different styles, including the Ashtanga Series, Vinyasa, Yin, Power Flow, and Restorative. As her love for yoga continued to grow, she completed her 200hr certification with Pranalife Yoga in 2015. With a strong and diverse personal practice, Sarah motivates her students to challenge themselves yet stay curious to the movements of the human body. Her knowledge of anatomy is evident in her emphasis on specific, direct cues to enter you into postures safely. Sarah believes that yoga is first and foremost a practice of the mind; she has experienced this first-hand with personal struggles through anxiety and self-esteem issues. She is a firm believer in the power of mindfulness and meditation, and that the practice of yoga is a tool for self-care. You can expect to have fun in her classes and explore playful creative movements that induce an experience of personal spiritual growth.
