Welcome Jian to The Coach House Team

Jian is a professional TCM practitioner and Acupuncture specialist, he completed five years of TCM Doctor education after four years of prior university education.

Jian comes from the same town as Chen Xiuyuan - one of the greatest TCM Doctors in centuries, who is also Jian's enlightening and lifetime teacher. He also learned from the most experienced Acupuncturists and TCM Doctors from the Academy of China Medical Sciences, top TCM universities and TCM hospitals in China.

Educated by world-class TCM Doctors and Acupuncturists, Jian has acquired a strong knowledge and technique that has achieved remarkable results with patients throughout the years.

In his toolbox, he has multiple styles of Acupuncture techniques and hundreds of herb formulas that he uses to treat each patient with a personal plan based on their personal health conditions.

He is committed to providing the highest quality healthcare and service in TCM and Acupuncture in order to preserve and optimize human life.

Visceral Manipulation with Heidi, treats specific organs such as the stomach, liver, gallbladder, lungs and digestive tract.

What is an abdominal massage and why should you try it?

Abdominal massage is just like regular massage just on your abdomen! it can be done either over to sheets or directly on your skin.

What does it potentially help with?
-bloating
-digestion
-constipation
-menstrual cramping
-back pain
-posture
-difficulty breathing

A lot of people are shocked to find RMT’s can work on your abdomen but when you think about it there’s lots of muscles in there too so wouldn’t it be weird if we didn't work on it??!

* Abdominal massage should never be painful and a lot of people actually find it quite relaxing!

If you want to give it a try ask your RMT about it next time you're in!

At the Coach House Therapeutic Centre we take a patient centered, hands on approach to healing. This focuses on the individuals ailments and creates a treatment plan specific to needs and health goals. The therapists are skilled and competent with over 20 years combined clinical experience in sports medicine facilities. The newly renovated building is located in the heart of Uptown Waterloo. We have created a space that combines modalities found in a traditional clinical treatment facility and have added a sophisticated and comfortable atmosphere.
