Meet Our New Co-op Students 👋
For the past 5 years, we’ve welcomed Kinesiology co-op students from the University of Waterloo and Wilfrid Laurier University to join our team at PhysioMira. In that time, we’ve had the pleasure of hosting over 20 co-op students who spend 4–8 months learning alongside our therapists and supporting patient care.
They assist with rehab programs, help around the clinic, and quickly become part of the team. One of the best parts is watching where their journeys take them — several of our former co-op students have gone on to become physiotherapists, and some have even returned to work with us!
This semester we’re excited to welcome Lauren and Nour.
Lauren is completing a minor in Neuroscience and frequently TAs in the anatomy lab at the University of Waterloo. She plays the piano and cello, enjoys painting and volleyball, and loves a good game of mahjong. She hopes to pursue physiotherapy after her undergrad.
Nour is in her 4th year of Honours Kinesiology with a minor in Medical Physiology. She loves soccer ⚽ and enjoys hiking, long trail walks, the beach, and spending time with her baby sister. After graduating, she’s considering physiotherapy or athletic therapy.
Please join us in giving Lauren and Nour a warm welcome to PhysioMira!
