Residents on our Memory Care floor recently enjoyed an evening at Bingemans Gift of Lights, taking in the beauty of the light displays that mark this special time of year! ✨🎄 It was a wonderful way to share in the warmth and joy of the holiday season together.

We're celebrating the truly wonderful milestone of our volunteer Bettina, who has been an active volunteer with us at the Village for 10 years! 🎉

Since her very first day in 2015, Bettina has supported the Village's Wellness Team, working closely with our Activities Coordinator Jackie, and playing an integral role in supporting special events such as the annual Strawberry Social, Mother's Day Tea and many of our themed evenings!

Bettina is always willing to help with any task - big or small! And she knows most residents by name, sharing in countless games of Bingo and cards, and lending her support at the Sunshine Social Hour and sing-along sessions.

We are deeply grateful for Bettina's dedication and commitment over the past decade to serving our residents. We extend our heartfelt thanks for everything she brings to the Village community!

We took a tour of the Toyota Cambridge Plant with our residents! 🚗 We enjoyed time in the showroom, featuring interactive exhibits, and took a motorized tram tour through the Cambridge Plant! There's always something fun happening for our special outings at the Village!

Residents had a wonderful time at our Black-Tie event for the Sunshine Centre! ✨

This is a cherished event we all look forward to every year. With laughter, music, smiles and exceptional food from our esteemed Food Services - this year's event was another beautiful evening spent together!

We had a very special birthday celebration here at the Village! Our wonderful resident, Violet, turned 105! 🎉🎈

Our team invited residents to come down to enjoy cake and give their birthday greetings over the weekend.

It's always nice to step out of the cold weather and into the beautiful indoor tropical gardens at the Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory! Last week our residents enjoyed an outing to the Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory, discovering hundreds of free-flying butterflies and chrysalis! 🦋

We were fortunate to host a theatre production right here at the Village! 🎭 Smile Theatre brought the whole set here for us to enjoy a delightful one-act musical adaptation of Oscar Wilde’s classic short story, The Happy Prince.

This is short story about a swallow who learns about friendship, altruism and caring for one another from a golden statue.

Written by Leslie Arden, one of Canada’s most treasured musical theatre creators, The Happy Prince is a Chalmers Canadian Play Award winner!

At Luther Village on the Park, enriching our residents’ lives is at the heart of everything we do. That's why we're excited to share that we’re exploring opportunities for our residents to volunteer and stay connected with the community. 🏡

Recently, we toured Mennonite Central Committee in New Hamburg and discussed available volunteer positions. 🤝

We're looking forward to working together in the near future!

We’re absolutely buzzing with cheer from our annual Winter Market here at the Village! 🎄

With over 60 talented local vendors, including some of our very own residents, and 500+ attendees, the day was filled with joy and holiday spirit!

From unique gifts and delicious goodies to a beautiful concert in the Chapel and cookie decorating for the kids, every moment was magical. And of course, the warm chili from Martin’s Restaurant was a crowd favorite!

✨ Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this event so special. Here’s to making new memories next year!
