Meagan Walker, Resilience In Motion

Meagan Walker, Resilience In Motion Training for Body & Mind I used to be a quitter - fitness routines, diets, hobbies, you name it. Yours in wellness,

Meagan

I had next to no self confidence or motivation to change, I procrastinated on almost everything, and was jealous of people who had what I wanted. I met the right people at the right time though, and with some perseverance and lucky breaks I now love who I am and feel incredibly passionate about helping other women feel their best too! If you're ready to put down strong roots so you can grow into your full potential I encourage you to get in touch, I would love to help you flourish!

Tilly has been a big help with clients this week!

For anyone who hasn’t met her yet, she is in-training from National Service Dogs, and is staying with us for 6 months as she completes the next stage of her career prep.

Starting in June, she’ll be heading to “school” every weekday, and will be tested to see what kind of service dog job she’s got a knack for.

Tilly is a super well behaved pup, and is happy to recieve all the attention, while also respecting the personal space of folks who aren’t super into dogs.

Shes going to be so good at her job one day! 💜

Talk yourself into changing!

The past 6 months I’ve done a deep-dive into a skill that I’ve been using casually for years, and I’d love to share it with you!

Not only has MI been super useful with clients, I’ve also found that it’s helped me work on my own habits and behaviours. A win-win.

Reach out any time if you’d like to chat more about how we can make MI work for you. 👍

We’re all feeling a little (or a lot!) exhausted by the world right now, and I believe that time spent in nature is an important part of keeping ourselves sane and healthy so we can show up in a way we’ll be proud of later. Rest is an act of resistance!

My goal for this retreat is to create that sweet balance of relaxing and energizing, supported by fresh food, restorative activities, and a close community of like-minded women.

No need to be an adventure or yoga pro, beginners are welcome! We’ve got cozy cabins and have taken care of all the logistics to make this retreat truly stress-free. (Helping with dishes is not allowed!) All that’s required is to show up and enjoy. 😌❤️

Activities include:

🧘‍♀️ Yoga, mindfulness, and meditation classes.
❤️ Workshops on core & back strength, herb mixtures for women, motivation, and more!
🛶 Canoeing, kayaking, and hiking.
☀️ Time to read, swim, or lounge on the dock.

If this sounds like your jam, there are two dates to choose from:
📆 July 17-20, 2025
📆 September 11-14, 2025

Follow-up from my previous reel! Learning a new skill or developing a new habit involves way more drudgery than most of us ever see online. (Mostly because who wants to watch someone do repetitive tasks for hours and days and weeks and years. Ain’t nobody got time for that.)

I encourage you to make a list of all the ways that your journey will feel, including the rough patches. Then when you hit one, you can say “ah-ha! Checkpoint reached.” 🙌

Lean into the suck. 🫠🤷🏻‍♀️💃🏻

Today marks one year since my dad passed. I had a good cry and wrote a little about my experience of grief. Sending healing vibes to anyone feeling the big feels today, especially around complex relationships.

If you've been paying attention to current events, you're likely feeling a higher-than-normal baseline level of stress. (Or maybe life has served up a custom source of stress just for you!)

To help me stay informed without going -completely- bonkers, I've been feeling a much greater need for gentle movement, stability, and mindfulness. Would you like to join in?

Starting March 13, I'll be offering five Thursday night virtual classes that combine those three things. We'll meet at 7:00pm ET, then spend 45 minutes doing a combination of breath work & grounding, stretching/stability/balance, and a short meditation to finish off. Complete beginners are welcome!

The dates are:

March 13, 20
April 3, 10, 17

Cost is $15/class

$5 of each registration will go to Wisahkotewinowak, an "urban Indigenous garden collective in Waterloo-Wellington." They do some really great work with providing fresh produce & land-based sustainability education. (Plus another way to help stave off the creeping dread is to support amazing causes!)

Don’t let anyone tell you that you don’t know your own experience! Personal growth and self-understanding is certainly a journey, but in the end you’re your own expert.

Let’s do this!

Resilience - noun - re·sil·ience: "An ability to recover from or adjust easily to stress or change."

Even though I was a shy kid, my passion for sharing knowledge and experience has driven me to cultivate the resilience I needed to get out there. My love of the outdoors and personal wellness have given me some valuable tools for getting strong, feeling great, and living in the moment - and I want to give my 'secrets' to you!

Whether we'll meet in the gym for training or up north for a retreat, I'm looking forward to helping you reclaim inner resilience so you can move through life with the purpose and confidence you need to reach your goals.
