The first group of Kinder Camp started today and we made sure to bring the FUN!
The Very Hungry Caterpillar 🐛 was the perfect read aloud to help us work on vocabulary, following directions with basic concepts, sequencing, wh- questions, counting, exploring patterns and fine motor skills! We had a blast!

☀️ The sun is shining and I’m thinking all things SUMMER at Rural Speech & Language Services. 😎

RSLS will be offering the following programs in July and August. Send Jen an email if you would like to reserve a spot in one of these summer sessions!

📚Rural Readers- 10:30-11:30- July 22nd & 29th, August 5th & 12th.

☀️Rural Readers focuses on early literacy skills for children in Kindergarten and Grade 1.

📚Rural Readers 2.0- 11:00-12:00- August 5th, 12th, 19th & 26th.

☀️Rural Readers 2.0 focuses on spelling and reading for children in Grade 2 and 3.

🎨 Kinder Camp 10:30-11:30- August 7th, 14th, 21st & 28th.

☀️Is your child heading to kindergarten in the fall? This program focuses on early literacy, language skills and social emotional skills for 4 and 5 year old children.

🗣️Speech Sounds- 1:30-2:30- July 23rd & 30th August 6th & 13th.

☀️This program is designed for school age kids (8–10-year-olds) that have speech sound errors (r, l, th, and s).

🧱Social Builders (NEW this year) 3:00-4:00- August 6th, 13th, 20th & 27th.

☀️Through the use of Lego, children will engage in problem solving, critical thinking skills and social communication skills. This group is intended for children in Grades 2-4.

🩶Individual one-on-one sessions will also be available throughout July and August. Stay tuned, the calendar to book individual sessions will open soon!
