It's been a long hot minute since I've posted, shared or done a market. Truth is summer was quick, relentless and I was just trying to make it to the other side. This year has been difficult for me. Big life changing decisions, health issues and mental health struggles. Admitting defeat is hard but here I am, almost 46 and settling in to the idea that one part of my career is over whether I like it or not. Amidst everything, I've kept sewing. For my business and also for myself. Making myself some clothing which brought me joy and peace. I have a few markets lined up for the remainder of the year starting with this one. I'm so looking forward to it ☺️ the vendor and food truck lineup is fantastic! The vibes are spooky, witchy and just right. I will have many of my products with me, perfect time to stock up or start your shopping for that certain holiday that we won't talk about just yet lol. Hope to see you there!

Mending and repairing is a lost art nowadays yet the need to do so is more and more important as our landfills fill up with fast fashion waste. Here is my Dad's jean shorts (jorts if you will lol) that he ripped the back pocket off. I lifted the pocket, patched and mended the rip and now im reattaching the pocket. They'll be good as new! 🧵🪡

Hey! It's been a hot minute since I introduced myself and I feel like there's alot of new faces here. So... hi! My name is Nathalie and I sew, and sew lol. I've been a professional seamstress, pattern maker and fashion designer for over 25 years now. I know what you're thinking, how is that possible Nathalie, you're only 35?! 🤣 I'm actually 45 but most days my hands much older. Besides sewing I am a former vocalist, (I share little singing clips every now and then) but I no longer perform in venues. I'm a wannabe chef and baker, who loves to eat. I'm proud mom to a wonderful daughter. I have amazing parents and Grandmaman. I have an incredibly loving and supportive partner. I'm very french ⚜️ I'm passionate about eco-friendly living. I'm an ally to the LGBTQ+ community. Here's what you can expect from me and this page: fun prints, some tutorials, humor, small business love, honesty, quality. Happy international women's day! I spent the day with one of my favorite women supporting some of my favorite female owned businesses at the Me and my Gals market at Club Roma. I am lucky to have mang strong females in my life from family, friends, maker friends to coworkers. My daughter teaches me every day and has made me a better person and I feel like the luckiest mom whenever we do something together. 💜💜💜
