Welland McMaster Family Health Team, Fonthill Family Medical Centre, and Rose City Medical Associates will be closed on Tuesday, July 1. There will be no After Hours Clinic that day.

All three offices are open with normal business hours on Monday, June 30 and Wednesday July 2. Have a safe and happy Canada Day!

June is National Indigenous History Month in Canada. It is a time to learn about the culture, traditions, and experiences of First Nation, Inuit, and Metis people across the country. This month, consider attending an event in your community celebrating Indigenous culture and history. The Welland Historical Museum is hosting a lecture called "Insights into our Past: The Legacy of the Indian Act" on Sat. June 14 at 2:00pm. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the Act’s role in colonization and the ongoing efforts toward reconciliation and Indigenous self-determination.

On Sunday, June 1 we held our 3rd annual Pelham Health Fair for Seasonal Agricultural Workers (SAWs) and it was a great success! We had 70 workers attend to learn about the health and social services supports available to them in Niagara, as well as to enjoy social time with friends, share a meal, and participate in a raffle for prizes donated by local businesses and community members.

Thank you to PenFinancial Credit Union for awarding us the Truly Local Grant, which helps fund our medical clinic for SAWs as well as providing the food for our Health Fair this year!
