🏀Today is the day! Registration is now open for the 5th annual Welland Girls Sports Day. Happening on Saturday, June 6th with onsite registration starting at 9:30 am and the event beginning at 10:15 am to 2 pm. at Empire Sportsplex.⚽️

🏐This event is free, fully accessible and open to girls ages 6 to 12. The day starts with a group stretch then an introduction to 8 different sports. Girls receive a free lunch, free swag and a free piece of sports equipment to take home.⛳️

🥋Parents can enjoy free coffee and snacks from our local McDonald's and lunch is available for purchase. While there is seating, we recommend parents bring a chair. Parents can visit The Hub to meet with different community organizations.🎾

🚲Have a bike that’s no longer being used? 🚲 Help give it a second life!

In partnership with Heart Niagara, the Welland Neighbourhood Project is collecting bicycles for children and youth in our community.

Your donated bike can support safe riding, reduce waste, and put a smile on a young person’s face. 💚
