Yesss
I recall the first time I realized I was most definitely a witch..everyone kept telling me ..but I was not sure I enjoyed being put into a box sort of speak.
I had many excited for me and on the flip side other terrified at the idea.
I had knowing and things just occuring in my life and I had no idea why i was able to tap in.
The word has soo much stigma behind it and unfortunately many have a negative spin on what the word or life style entails.
Being a witch is like anything else, we have positive and negative.
We have good witches and not so good witches.
We have witches who only work with the light, and others who work with the dark.
Pendulum swing in all things here on the earth.
I believe originally, which is more holistic practitioners, running apothecary, places, connecting people to the land and understanding how to utilize this land as well as our elementals. Unfortunately, religion has created issues with their storytelling of half truths, so they can empower themselves instead of everyone being empowered.

Steep your hyssop as you would a tea, let it cool. 
One would use this wash as you clear and cleans yourself with a prayer from Psalm 51:7, 
I do realize not everyone is interested in using biblical scriptures. I find things that resonate with me and go from that. 
Some scripture and prayers hold lots of power as they have been used for the same purpose ritualistically for many many moons. 
You can use intent and your own words as we all know 

If this can be done outside let the water run down and ask Gaia to neutralize the energies as they wash away from your body. 
The below would be said while you are washing hands, face, body. 
Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow,” is David’s prayer for deep spiritual cleansing from sin (adultery and murder with Bathsheba), using the hyssop plant (used in Old Testament purification rites) as a symbol for God’s powerful, restorative purification that makes one truly pure, even beyond earthly standards like fresh snow.
