It is true! Registered Massage Therapy is a part of Phase 2 of BC's Restart Plan. While the plan starts on May 19th, that does not mean that all businesses can reopen that day. RMT's are awaiting direction from the College of Massage Therapists of BC (CMTBC) and the Provincial Health Officer (PHO) regarding safety protocols needed before resuming work.
Currently, there is no official date to reopen. The CMTBC is working on these protocols and are awaiting approval from the PHO.
Thank you very much for your patience and understanding as this is for everyone's health and safety, which is my top priority. I am looking forward to having you back in for treatments as soon as it is safe to do so. -Lauren

The College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia (CMTBC) - highly recommend the following: Registered Massage Therapists suspend practice for a two-week period, effective immediately, and re-evaluate the situation at the end of that period.
With following that recommendation Align Registered Massage Therapy will be closing effective March 18th until April 6th and as such, all appointments until April 6th will be cancelled. Online booking is still available from April 6th onward. All patients with appointments will be contacted personally if I continue to remain closed and therefore need to cancel those appointments.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of my amazing clients for your patronage over the years. I will be in contact with you via email or phone if you have any further questions or concerns. You are all important to me and I want to have you back in my clinic as soon as possible. Your health and safety is my top priority. I truly appreciate your understanding and support during this time. Stay safe and healthy. -Lauren
