Found the PERFECT addition for Camping Theme 🏕️ Big thanks to 🫶🏼

I say this all the time I know, but themed-therapy has truly been THE secret-sauce in my SLP practice. Keeps me and my materials organized; helps my students with their goals and it keeps me excited to add to the themes. Some themes I try don’t work out as well as others; and that’s okay! Camping is always a super-fun one that we all enjoy 🙌🏼

Back in British Columbia from some much-needed, soul and heart filling time with my boys and my parents in Northern Ontario. Feeling so grateful today to have had this special time with them. ♥️

Wow, it’s HOT here in the Okanagan ☀️ Hope you’re all staying as cool as possible.

A love note for all us deeply-feeling helpers; remember to always make the time to settle in and listen to what your body and your heart are telling you. It knows ✨✌🏼

What a year it has been for me as a school-based SLP; mostly full of my mind trying to reason with my intuition; trying to figure the public school system out, trying to solve it all, to be it all. Now, it’s time for a remembering, healing, and for a return to what is good for me and my family. 💛

One of the hardest things for me about being a school-based SLP has been staying true (& finding the time!) to do what brings me JOY. Joy comes in many forms for me; and one of these is CELEBRATING my student’s efforts! 🌟These kids work SO hard, all day long, communicating with their peers and teachers. So this week, I’m making them all “Summer Fun Folders” full of engaging activities and of course, some treats! 🍦 ☀️ 🦩 🏖️
