Growth. It can take many seasons and change its path along the way. It can be found deep in the cold darkness, slowly blooming. It can be full of wisdom learned in the hard, and it can also be full of sweet, gentle quiet. As someone who helps others, growth can be learning to help myself too. Thank you to the many families who have trusted me with supporting their child. Thank you to the colleagues who have taught and inspired me. And thank you to my family and friends who have embraced me while I grow, just as I am. Feeling grateful to be starting new paths as an SLP and as Sarah, too. Happy Spring 🌱

Found the PERFECT addition for Camping Theme 🏕️ Big thanks to 🫶🏼

I say this all the time I know, but themed-therapy has truly been THE secret-sauce in my SLP practice. Keeps me and my materials organized; helps my students with their goals and it keeps me excited to add to the themes. Some themes I try don’t work out as well as others; and that’s okay! Camping is always a super-fun one that we all enjoy 🙌🏼

Back in British Columbia from some much-needed, soul and heart filling time with my boys and my parents in Northern Ontario. Feeling so grateful today to have had this special time with them. ♥️

A love note for all us deeply-feeling helpers; remember to always make the time to settle in and listen to what your body and your heart are telling you. It knows ✨✌🏼

What a year it has been for me as a school-based SLP; mostly full of my mind trying to reason with my intuition; trying to figure the public school system out, trying to solve it all, to be it all. Now, it’s time for a remembering, healing, and for a return to what is good for me and my family. 💛
