It’s .

Did you know that the kidney is the most commonly transplanted organ? As with any invasive surgery, there are challenges, encompassing intricate pre-operative preparations and post-operative care.

Thrive Health’s surgical care journey addresses this need for pre and post-operative support, streamlining the experience for providers, patients, and their support network. The goal is to reduce surgical risks, decrease postoperative complications, and facilitate a quicker recovery.

To ensure patients receive access to continued care, our surgical care journey supports postoperative care by assessing and managing any pain or complications that may arise.

Through our surgical care journey, Thrive can work with your hospital to optimize the pre and post-surgical experience for all involved.

March 8th is , an essential day during Women’s History Month dedicated to the commemoration of women throughout the world, highlighting their achievements, global impact, and right to gender equality.

Throughout this March, we will honour numerous female-identifying trailblazers in health and technology spaces throughout history.

Today, we spotlight Beatrice Worsley, a pioneer in early computer science. Not only was Worsley the first female computer scientist in Canada, but it is widely believed that she was the first woman in the world to receive a doctorate degree in 1952. Her dissertation, ‘Serial Programming for Real and Idealized Digital Calculating Machines,’ is one of the first documented research papers on modern computers.

At Thrive Health, we recognize Beatrice Worsley as a revolutionary force in Canada’s tech landscape who has inspired generations. Throughout Women’s History Month, we encourage you to learn more about how female-identifying Canadians have positively shaped the world we live in today.

As we continue to reflect and learn during Black History Month, we celebrate numerous Black Canadians who have been trailblazers in health and technology spaces. Their contributions have not only shaped industries but inspired generations.

Today, we spotlight Alan Emtage, a Canadian computer scientist who pioneered one of the world’s first search engines in 1989 as a graduate student at McGill University. His invention, ARCHIE, transformed the way we access information online. Emtage's innovation didn't stop there; he went on to lead in computer science and contribute significantly to developing internet standards.

At Thrive Health, we commend his dedication to solving everyday problems and driving continuous innovation. Throughout Black History Month, we encourage you to learn more about how black Canadians have positively shaped the world we live in today.
