As we age, maintaining muscle mass and strength is crucial for overall health and mobility. 🏋️‍♀️ But how do you know when to lift light or heavy?

🔹 Light Weights: Perfect for improving endurance, enhancing joint stability, and learning proper technique. Ideal for long lever exercises, injury prevention and when focusing on form, for example in a Pilates with Weights session.

🔹 Heavy Weights: Essential for building strength and power. Great for compound movements like squats and deadlifts, which engage multiple muscle groups. Boosts your metabolism by increasing muscle tissue.
