The deer are coming right up to us with no fear, just presence. Close enough to share apples, to stand with the men, to be part of the moment.

In our way, that’s not random.
That’s a messenger.

A quiet reminder that Spirit is near… and that when we walk in a good way, even the land comes close to meet us.

Not everything in recovery happens in a room…

Some of the real work happens out here with hands on the wood, feet on the land, working side by side. What you’re looking at is firewood for the sweat lodge… but it’s more than that.

Every piece cut, stacked, and carried is part of something deeper. It’s discipline. It’s patience. It’s learning to show up and follow through. It’s reconnecting to purpose and to each other.

That fire will heat the stones… but this work is already lighting something up inside these men.

This is what healing looks like for us.

Proud of the men and the effort being put in every day.

🪶🔥 This weekend’s Powwow brought a lot of good energy back into the community . The drums, the dancing, the songs, and all the people who showed up made it something special.

Some of the men who had just arrived at Ray of Hope Lodge were able to be there and witness it right away. To step into that circle, feel the drum, and see our people coming together was powerful. It reminded them that they’re not alone on this journey.

Culture brings people together. It lifts the spirit and helps us remember who we are.

Thank you to everyone who came out and shared in such a beautiful weekend. The circle is strong and the healing continues. 🪶🔥
