In the Spring, I was blessed with the opportunity to pursuit Nature Mentor Training with , and to culminate my learnings with an overnight candle quest at Camp Kanawana.
The greatest lesson I took away from this experience was, 'Get comfortable in discomfort'. A lesson that I will continuously be integrating for the rest of my life.
I would like to extend my gratitude, loyalty and reverence to Kahnawake and to the Kanyen'kehà:ka people who welcomed and taught us on this sacred land.
