2026 is the 10th anniversary of Leonard Cohen's passing. This book is my love letter to Montreal and to two Montreal legends: Leonard and my late friend, Adrian Burhop. It plays with the universal themes of friendship, self-acceptance, and mortality—and it's my first crack at fiction. It's a good story, I think, and I'm happy it has been added to the stacks at the Westmount Public Library. It's different from my osteopathic/bone stuff, but I hope you enjoy it anyway 💜

Unwinding Bone is first and foremost a textbook published by Human Kinetics but it's also a poem and a song and a meditation. It's an exploratory dive into evolution and life and bone. It's my humble offering and it's an ode to being human. This project took me a few years to complete but in a way, I've been working on it my whole life. In the book I probably ask more questions than answer so it's only a beginning but it's still a beginning, I think. Can't wait to share it ❤ Scott
