Kukaro Therapy

Kukaro Therapy The goal of "Kukaro Therapy" is to service and empower people with tools to learn and achieve the state of "Being" and not "Doing"!!! What is reflexology?

My therapeutic style varies depending upon each clients’ state; whether to help performance and recovery of athletes, relieve tension caused by a sedentary lifestyle, stress or postural problems, or even recovering from cancer. I will customize each massage session to meet your individual needs. I am passionate about empowering clients in leading them to a pain-free, stress-free, healthy life. I am equally comfortable providing either relaxation, therapeutic massages, or both. Whatever you need, I am here to support my clients’ muscular health. It all started with the feet, in 2014 with foot reflexology. "Reflexology" is a natural healing art based on the principle that there are reflexes in the feet, hands, and ears, which correspond to every part, gland, and organ of the body." Then in 2018, I received my Swedish Massage Certification from IKRA Massage School after honing my therapeutic experience while volunteering for over 4 years at the West Island Cancer Wellness Centre (WICWC) by providing foot reflexology to a variety of cancer participants.

Our Story

Why Kukaro?? "In Micronesian, there’s a word, Kukaro, which has no corresponding word in English. When people say they are going to Kukaro, they mean they are going to relax, sit around, and hang out. They are being, not doing." –Eli and Beth Halpern About the owner: She is a unique, dynamic and compassionate fully bilingual multitalented therapist willing to share the value of her life experiences, her kind heart, her attentiveness to others wanting to improve their lives, one healing session at a time. She hopes to help others achieve personal inner peace towards obtaining..."A state of being, not doing" - Kukaro...

She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, divisional major in Psychology. She has always been interested in non-invasive, alternative ways of healing and achieving optimum wellness of mind/body and spirit.

Here theraputic talents include: Swedish Massage L1, Amma Executive Chair Massage, Foot Reflexology, AIS (Active Isolated Stretching), and Dien Chan (head reflexology).
