🌱Spring is in the air! The days are longer and the sun is warmer melting away winter’s blanket of snow. It is the season that gently nudges us out of hibernation and to become more active again supporting our physical, mental and emotional health.

Managing chronic stress is a vital element to Cardiovascular Disease (CVD) and Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) prevention.

Research suggests that low cost lifestyle choices can help make a difference when it comes to CVD and AD prevention. Meditation is one of them.

Meditation along with eating healthy meals, physical and mental exercise and socialization may be beneficial to the prevention of CVD and AD.

Join me for a 4-week “Introduction to Meditation” series at the ABC Hall in Bolingbroke to experience the effects on your overall wellness.

Meditating in group is a wonderful way to start your meditation practice if you are a beginner; rekindle one if you have fallen off your seat; and connect with others to share and deepen your existing practice. I hope that you will join me for the challenge and pull up your meditation seat whether it be a chair, a cushion or bench starting on Wednesday, March 5, 10:30-11:30am
