Prearranging for yourself or a loved one, can help to alleviate difficult decisions at an emotionally vulnerable time.

Meeting with our Pre-Need Specialist, Diane Lane, you will discuss service options, thoughts and any special requests you may have. Your wishes would be documented and a file would be maintained at our office. At any time, your plans can be updated or changed. It's easy for us to keep up-to-date plans which creates ease for your family or executor in the future.

Pre-paying is an option which can be discussed as well. This decision can help to secure our rates at today's cost, if that is the goal. However there is zero obligation to do anything financially in advance.

Saturday, August 9 - Wallbanger Distillery at Pigeon Lake.

This is a day set up to raise funds for the Underwater Search Team as Alberta is the only province in Canada WITHOUT a fully-funded recovery dive team. This is appalling on so many levels, but all we can do is help this selfless group of volunteers so they can ensure no recovery is turned away due to a lack of divers or funding.

We hope not only to raise a lot of funds but also FUN for the day. Plenty of events to participate in - 5k run, yoga, silent auction, name that tune and tons of live music throughout the day.

It’s time to rally, raise funds, and run WILD at the Wallbanger WILD MILE 5K FUN RUN! All in support of the Alberta Underwater Search Team.

Alberta is the only province in Canada without fully funded recovery dive services. These volunteer heroes help families when it matters most. Now it’s our turn to support them! So grab your shoes, your crew, and your energy - it’s time to start training and fundraising!

This run is for everyone. Tell your mom. Tell your friends. Tell the stranger standing behind you in the grocery store. SHOUT it off the rooftops! Let’s come together to raise as much as we can to make sure this team keeps helping families in times of need.

The PEP RALLY begins at 8:30am and takeoff time is at 9:00am sharp, so don’t be late!

Today we learned of the loss of a lady that knew how to celebrate life, cherish loved ones and light up a room with laughter and dance.

Koula and Uncle Louis ran the Olympia Taverna greek restaurant on main street. Through their incredible food and genuine long, late-night conversations, we developed a deep friendship. Koula, we will miss you.

As we approach the busy season for diving, we understand it is CRUCIAL for Underwater Search Team to be able to carry on despite the lack of funding.

Wallbanger Distillery (near the Village at Pigeon Lake) is graciously hosting an event on Saturday, August 9 to help bring awareness to the dive team. We are in the early stages of planning but want to ensure you save the date to attend, participate and donate! Book your hotel or your campsite now and check back for further information!

When thinking about a final resting place for yourself or a loved one, have you thought about a columbarium niche?

Toward the west end of Wetaskiwin Memorial Cemetery, there is still availability in our one columbarium. This is an above ground structure with 60 niches; each can hold up to two urns and the plaques label each niche just like a monument on a grave.
