WHO'S MISLEADING WHO? 🧐
Dairy farmers (with Government support) have spent an outrageous amount of marketing money to indoctrinate you into believing that calcium comes only or mostly from milk.
Leafy greens, green veg beans, tofu, sesame seeds and even oranges contain lots of usable calcium. And here's 2 very good reasons why they are the far superior source of calcium:
1️⃣ Many green vegetables have *calcium absorption* rates of over 50%, compared with about 32% for milk.
2️⃣ Animal protein *induces calcium excretion* in your urine. When you eat a plant based diet your calcium retention is better so you need less.
Animal protein ingestion results in a heavy acid load in the blood. This sets off a series of reactions in which calcium is released from your bones to help neutralize the acid - resulting in calcium loss.
Just another reason why high protein diets (animal or plant based) are unnatural and ill advised (while also being pointless).
