Mountain Strength And Fitness My name is Marco and I'm a NSCA-Certified Personal Trainer and Precision Nutrition (Level 1) coach. I offer both online and in-person training.

After being an overweight, food-loving couch potato throughout most of my adult life, I fell in love with fitness after becoming fed up with my lifestyle, embarking on a mission of learning and self-improvement, losing nearly 30 pounds, and gaining an appreciable amount of muscle in the process. ✅ Continue eating mostly home-cooked, whole food meals during that time (and arguably, 80-90% of the time after it)

Most people need a complete overhaul of their lifestyle, mindset, and habits to get anywhere near as lean as they want to be.

Take it from someone who’s been on that journey for 12 years.

First as a guy who had to lose the weight himself, then as a coach who’s helped others do the same.

I'm a big believer in having social flexibility with food, but your current expectations for what that looks like are probably skewed and unrealistic.

The words "I deserve it" are holding you back.

Most people fail at health and fitness because they lack consistency across weeks and months and treat every weekend like a high-calorie food and booze o**y.

You're convinced that there are no other forms of entertainment left besides binge-drinking with acquaintances who don't give a s**t about their own health or yours.

Old hobbies and interests are forgotten. Physical activity comes to a halt.

Gluttony and alcohol have become your only sources of joy and stress-management.

They momentarily numb your discomfort, but make you feel worse long-term.

You turn back to them for comfort and keep repeating the cycle.

Many folks just never learned any better.

It's what our world is set up for: work > stress and emptiness > numbing pain through endless consumption.

You can turn that around though.

Exercising and eating better can feel like it sucks at first.

But as soon as the physical and mental health benefits start to shine through, your mood and energy start improving and you'll never want to return to your old ways.
