Inspired to share this incredible practice, and the seemingly infinte benefits, I completed a 200 hour teaching certificate from Shakti-Yoga Teacher Training in St Johnβs in 2020, and Yoga Nidra Training in 2022. I have since been offering classes to a variety of clients and welcome new opportunities to teach, learn and build connections in the Yoga community. 12:00PM-12:55PM:
A gentle lunchtime retreat, designed to bring some mobility to your mid-day. Expect to practice at a slower pace, ending with a soothing meditation to prepare you for the rest of the afternoon. Register for 6 weeks of classes at $12.50 per class.
6:30PM-7:30PM:
A gentle evening practice. Fundamentals of Hatha and other styles of Yoga are taught through sequences of breathing, poses and meditation. Perfect for people wishing to introduce themselves to the practice for the first time. Register for 6 weeks of classes at $13.50 per class.
7:50PM-9:00PM:
Designed for individuals interested in a diverse class. Breathing practices, a flow of hatha-style postures and a lengthened meditation at the end to prepare you for the remainder of your evening and a good night's sleep. Register for 6 weeks of classes at $15.00 per class.
*Age to register for all classes at this time is 16+
*Modifications and variations will be demonstrated to accommodate participants. Participants agree that they accept responsibility to recognize their own limitations in their practice and act accordingly.
*Please be advised that some activities such as resting on hands and knees and getting up and down from the mat independently, will be frequently included in sequences. Guidelines for COVID-19 will follow provincial recommendations at the time.
