Hi everyone! 👋🏻

For those who don’t know me, my name is Sarah Long, and I am the Clinical Director at Mindful Mental Health.

I founded Mindful Mental Health as a solo practitioner with a vision to expand the mental health services available in Durham Region—particularly for families with young children navigating complex challenges. At the time, I saw the barriers many families faced: long waitlists, limited funding, and a lack of practitioners experienced in working with this population.

Over time, I refined my practice to specialize in supporting children and teens with ASD, ADHD, ODD, and other unique needs. What began as a one-person practice has now grown into a collaborative team of dedicated therapists across two disciplines: Psychotherapy and ABA Therapy.

While our team specializes in work with children and adolescents, we are proud to support clients of all ages—offering compassionate, individualized care for every stage of life.

At Mindful Mental Health, our team is deeply committed to growing alongside our clients. Each therapist brings their own expertise and story—just as every client brings theirs. We believe in meeting clients where they are, ensuring personalized, evidence-based support throughout their therapy journey.

“Unfiltered” is a 6-week group for girls ages 13–15 where you’ll build strength, confidence, and real connections in a safe, supportive space. 💬💪

📅 Mondays | 6–7 PM
📍 Whitby, ON
💵 $95 per session

We’ll dive into topics that actually matter:
