Therapeutic massage isn't a luxury. It's a legitimate treatment with measurable effects on inflammation, scar tissue, circulation, and joint mobility.

RMT Chante Forde uses deep tissue work, myofascial release, and trigger point therapy to target specific dysfunctions. These techniques break up chronic tension patterns, release compressed nerves, and improve how your body moves. The benefits extend well beyond the treatment table.

Many of our patients incorporate massage alongside chiropractic care as part of a complete recovery plan. If you've been writing off massage as "just relaxation," your body might need it more than you realize.

Book your appointment and experience the difference.

Rounded shoulders from desk work don't correct themselves. Over time, your chest muscles shorten, your upper back weakens, and your body holds tension through your neck and shoulders as the default.

Wall angels are one of the most effective exercises for this. Stand with your back against a wall, feet about six inches out. Press your lower back, shoulders, and the back of your hands against the wall. Slowly slide your arms up and down, keeping contact the whole time.

It might feel awkward at first. That's normal when you're working against patterns your body has held for years. Start with a few reps and build from there.

That cracking sound during an adjustment? It's not bones moving out of place. It's a gas release from the joint as pressure changes, similar to opening a sealed container.

Spinal adjustments performed by trained chiropractors are safe and well-researched. The adjustment restores proper joint mobility and reduces nerve irritation, which is why so many people feel immediate relief and better range of motion afterward.

If the sound has been keeping you from trying chiropractic care, we're happy to walk you through exactly what's happening. No surprises, no pressure.

Tight hamstrings don't just limit flexibility. They pull on your pelvis and contribute to lower back pain. This simple towel stretch targets them safely. Lie on your back, loop a towel around one foot, and straighten your leg toward the ceiling. Hold 30 seconds per side, daily.

Consistency matters more than intensity.

Custom orthotics aren't just about your feet. When your feet aren't properly aligned, that misalignment travels up through your knees, hips, and lower back. Every step reinforces the same pattern.

Orthotics correct how your foot strikes the ground, which improves alignment through your entire body. They're especially helpful for people who stand all day, walk long distances, or keep dealing with lower body pain that won't stay away.

If knee, hip, or back pain keeps showing up, your feet might be part of the answer. Book an assessment and let's find out.

Rest is important after an acute injury. But when pain sticks around for weeks, prolonged inactivity usually makes things worse. Muscles weaken. Joints stiffen. Movement patterns that were already problematic don't correct themselves on the couch.

Here's the part most people miss: rest doesn't retrain how your body moves. If faulty mechanics caused the problem, stopping won't address them. Your body needs guided movement to rebuild strength, restore coordination, and regain confidence in moving without pain.

That doesn't mean pushing through severe discomfort. It means working with someone who understands the right balance between rest and strategic movement for where you are right now.

Movement is medicine, but it needs to be the right kind at the right time. Ready to move forward? Tap the link in our bio.

You don't need to wait until you can barely move to come in. Mild stiffness, tightness that keeps showing up in the same spot, range of motion that's slowly shrinking. Those are all reasons to book.

Most people push through discomfort until it starts affecting their sleep, their work, or their ability to keep up with their kids. By that point, the body has been compensating for weeks or months, and those compensations create their own problems.

Early care is simpler care. Fewer visits, faster results, less disruption to your life. If something feels off, that's worth paying attention to.

We're here when you're ready.

Low back tight after a long drive? Hours in the same position shortens your hip flexors, compresses your spine, and locks everything up. Try these three moves at your next stop.

Save this for your next road trip.

Low back pain that hangs around for months usually isn't random. Something is driving it, whether that's a joint that stopped moving properly, muscles that tightened up to protect the area, or nerve irritation keeping everything on high alert.

Chiropractic adjustments restore proper joint mobility so your body can stop compensating. When vertebrae move the way they should, surrounding muscles relax, nerve irritation decreases, and your body gets a real chance to recover.

If low back pain has become your normal, it doesn't have to stay that way. Book your appointment and let's get to the source of it.

That stiff neck and achy lower back you feel every evening? Your desk setup might be playing a bigger role than you think.

When your monitor sits too low, your head drifts forward to compensate. A chair without lumbar support lets your spine round into a slouch. And if your feet don't reach the floor, your pelvis shifts and changes the way your entire spine is positioned.

These aren't small annoyances. Over hours and weeks, your body adapts to these postures and starts treating them as normal. Muscles tighten in some areas, weaken in others, and pain becomes part of your daily routine.

The good news? Small changes to your workspace can shift how you feel by the end of the day. Monitor height, chair support, foot positioning. Simple adjustments, real results.

Want personalized guidance for your setup? We're here to help.

Sitting and standing up straight is easier said than done, especially when many people live a sedentary life with long hours at a desk or behind the wheel. Lounging on the couch for long periods instead of doing physical activity doesn't do much help either. Many people have poor posture, which can result in short-term discomfort as well as long-lasting impacts on a person's health.

When left unchecked, poor posture can lead to spinal and muscle problems, including a misaligned or curved spine, headaches, jaw pain, constricted nerves, and chronic pain. There's also the risk of poor circulation, digestion, and lung function from prolonged poor posture. That's why chiropractors recommend patients strive to correct their posture whenever possible. Proper posture should maintain the natural curves in the spine without increasing them, so the head should be above the shoulders and the shoulders should come over the hips.

Having the right chairs with adequate spinal support at home and work helps, as well as a supportive mattress and a good pair of shoes. Plus, going in for chiropractic treatment is a smart choice for anyone dealing with poor posture.
