Car Seat Connections is a group of Certified Passenger Safety Technicians offering mobile car seat installation services in the Durham Region. We are Tahlia Perl-Dutt, Sandie Massie, and Jamie Massie. Tahlia Perl-Dutt is a mother of two and is passionate about helping people. Tahlia has been a Child Passenger Safety Technician since 2013 and particularly enjoys helping parents ensure that their children are as safe as possible, and making a complicated subject easier for parents to understand. Sandie is a registered Early Childhood Educator, a Certified Car Seat Technician, and mother of 3. She spent more than a decade inspecting daycare homes then moved on to provide Home Safety Consultations and solutions to concerned parents and grandparents. Reports indicate that approximately 80% of all car seats are installed incorrectly but we can tell you that number is much higher! We can help ensure that your children are riding safely.

**RECALL NOTICE**

Diono Canada has issued a recall concerning certain models of their seats. When installed rear-facing with UAS, they do not meet our crash test standards. You can contact them to receive a fix for this, but in the meantime they recommend installing with the seatbelt to avoid this issue. If you are not using the seat rear-facing and installed with UAS, you do not need to worry about this warning, but you can contact them to receive the fix just in case you do need to use it that way. **RECALL ALERT**

I have seen a few of these seats recently and those are done correctly (or using the UAS and this doesn't come into play), but if you have this seat installed with the seatbelt, please make sure that the seatbelt is locked properly! If you are unsure how to do that, please reach out for help.

2020-2022 Diono Radian 3RXT owners - On certain child car seats, the owner's manual doesn't provide clear instructions for how to lock the vehicle seat belt when using the seat in a rear-facing position.

** SAFETY ALERT ** Clek is notifying the public of a safety concern on its Foonf and Fllo seats manufactured before May 21, 2021. It is possible for a child to pick off a piece of the EPP foam under the cover and this can cause a choking hazard. If you have registered your seat, they will contact you directly. If you have one of these and you have not registered it, please contact the company to get the piece that will fix this problem. Follow the link for more information.
