CURRENTLY ON MATERNITY LEAVE
As a doula, I will provide a minimum two antenatal visits, presence for birth (however long that may be) and two postnatal visits. I commit to being on call for 2 weeks either side of your due date. I accept only 1-2 clients per month so I am able to provide you with the attention you and your family need. I book your birth in a fortnight each side of your estimated due date – and dedicate myself to support you from start to finish of your labour. During this time I am available 24 a hours/day to you by phone and email. If you happen to go into labour outside the two weeks before or after your estimated due date – unless absolutely impossible I will be with you during labour regardless of the date. Other skills and services: I have a lending library of over 200 titles available to my clients and I am also a HypnoBirthing Practitioner. I accompany women in labour to help ensure a safe and satisfying birth experience. I draw upon my knowledge and experience to provide emotional support, physical comfort and communication with your health care provider to ensure you have the information needed to make informed decisions in labour.I can provide reassurance and perspective to you and your partner, make suggestions for labour progress, and help with relaxation, massage, positioning and other techniques for comfort.
