Last year's Peace Arch Hospital Gala brought the allure of the French Quarter to White Rock, and raised more than $1.5 million for a production kitchen and upgraded food services at Peace Arch Hospital. The sold-out black-tie fundraiser, presented by Neil & Lisa Yarmoshuk, was attended by 450 guests and 58 volunteers who helped plan and execute the magical evening.

What an inspiring show of generosity and community spirit✨ On January 3, our Youth in Action members hosted their first-ever Christmas Bottle Drive! Thanks to the collective generosity of our community, together we collected over 15,000 bottles and raised $6,500 for Foundry South Surrey-White Rock💙

A huge thank you to Polygon Homes who matched all funds raised up to $5,000 on event day, helping twice as many youth in our community receive the wellness services they deserve. We are also incredibly grateful to the retirement residences Oceana Parc, Amica White Rock, and Aspira Retirement Living for their outstanding contributions, which played a significant role in the success of this bottle drive.

We're so proud of our Youth in Action members for leading this initiative with passion and resilience, and incredibly thankful to each community member who supported this event. Together, we turned post-holiday bottles into meaningful support for youth in our community🫶✨
