Most people have never actually felt their psoas.
They stretch it. Foam-roll it. Been told it's tight, or weak, or the source of their back pain.
But feeling it, and befriending it — really learning to sense it, inhabit it, listen to it — that's not so common.
Janet discovered this in one of my workshops. I think she put it better than I ever could.
If you're curious what this kind of work feels like from the inside, join me for a taster workshop:

We'll explore the psoas through the lens of the five koshas, the five layers of human experience — combining experiential anatomy, somatic inquiry, and yogic philosophy into a practice that works on every layer at once.
This is a taste of the deeper 10-hour intensive coming in May — but it stands completely on its own.
