In Ear Monitors (musician hearing protection).

Musicians Earplugs have specially designed high fidelity filters that protect your hearing without compromising the clarity of music and speech. The sound quality is the same as you would hear it without earplugs, but with less volume. You can choose from three levels of sound reduction; ER-9, ER-15, ER-25. Music teachers or student musicians would be adequately protected with ER-15 filters, whereas rock performers using amplified instruments would require the higher sound reduction of ER-25’s. With interchangeable filters, you can purchase a second set of filters with a higher sound reduction level. this week Melissa Taylor (RAUD, RHIP) and Adam Medeiros (RHIP) from the NexGen Hearing White Rock team joined White Cliff by Revera, to celebrate the retirement home's 30th anniversary of providing care to seniors in the peninsula. Working with great retirement homes to provide superior service to retirees in the peninsula is part of NexGen's ongoing community outreach program.

Fabulous day today at the annual White Rock Sea Festival, where Melissa Taylor (RAUD, RHIP) and Adam Medeiros (RHIP) passed out literature about hearing health, hearing loss and provided in-person answers to common questions. Why? Because advocacy for hearing health is in our blood.

In collaboration with our full time NexGen Hearing White Rock / South Surrey clinic, we held a free Hearing Workshop this afternoon. Open to all, the program included a talk by White Rock audiologist Melissa Taylor, an audio video presentation about speech reading and living with hearing loss, and involved participation by members of the audience. Refreshments were served and a variety of personal sound amplifiers were on display for guests to handle.
