👀June is Cataract Awareness Month, but do you know what a cataract is? A cataract is when the normally clear lens of the eye becomes cloudy and opaque, and is most often associated with age.

Cataracts vary from small areas of cloudiness to large opaque areas that can cause noticeable blurring of a person's entire vision.

There are many types of cataracts, all of which can advance at different rates and affect an individual in different environments (for example: day vs night). Cataracts can end up blurring vision enough that they interfere with performing normal day to day vision tasks
