"If the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy."
Peak Canadian wisdom, courtesy of The Red Green Show.
This iconic CBC series wasn’t just about duct tape and dad jokes. It was a love letter to small-town Canada, to DIY disasters, and to a kind of humour that could only come from here.

From Possum Lodge to Possum Lake, The Red Green Show brought us laughter, community, and a whole lot of plaid.
It ran for 15 seasons and made its mark not just as a comedy classic — but as a truly Canadian cultural touchstone.
Shows like this don’t just appear. They need space, support, and a platform that understands what makes Canada… Canada.
That’s the kind of space the CBC has always made room for.
If we want more shows like Red Green, we need to protect the broadcaster that made it possible.
📢 Share the nostalgia. Share the love.
🧰 And remember—duct tape fixes a lot, but not everything.
To save the CBC, we need to stand up and vote smart, and vote strategically. Because no amount of duct tape can help the CBC is Poilievre takes over. And once we lose our CBC, it's gone for good.
