Yukon Women's MidLife Health Clinic The Yukon Women’s MidLife Health Clinic offers health care and support to women who are approachin Our clinic welcomes patients without family doctors.

Our clinic is open to women who want to:
• explore options to manage their perimenopause and menopause symptoms,
• identify menopause related risk factors for heart and bone health, as well as cancer prevention through appropriate screening,
• receive diagnosis and help to manage menopause related conditions, and
• further explore how to lead a healthy lifestyle and prevent disease. At the Yukon Women’s MidLife Health Clinic, we practice collaborative health care, where the right professionals work together to meet patients’ health care needs. We have a nurse practitioner who will consult with physicians and a variety of other health professionals. We also accept patients who have been referred by their family doctors and other health professionals. Patients can access the clinic by making an appointment during the day or during evening clinic. Due to low drop in numbers and high demand for booked appointments, the clinic will no longer offer drop in but rather will have booked appointments only Thursday evenings from 5-7. Women can get help with:
• managing perimenopause and menopause symptoms such as hot flashes and night sweats, mood or sleep disturbances, sexual dysfunction and vaginal dryness,
• assessing and managing mild to moderate anxiety and depression,
• screening for and preventing osteoporosis,
• preventing cancers: breast, endometrial, cervical and colorectal cancers,
• promoting risk factors to reduce coronary heart disease, and
• providing breast exams, regular cervical or pap testing, and birth control. Women under the age of 40, youth, and men of all ages who want to learn more about sexual health or birth control options are encouraged to visit the Yukon S*xual Health Clinic. Patients without a valid territorial or provincial health care card, who are from Quebec or out-of-country, will be required to pay a small 50$ clinic fee. Please know health care services are not available in French. Our clinic is supported by the Department of Health and Social Services.
