An exciting addition to Hand Prints Collective Wellness

Please welcome Kiana, RMT 🌼⭐️☀️

Kiana is a Registered Massage Therapist who graduated in 2018 from the 2200 hour program at The West Coast College of Massage Therapy in Victoria, BC and is an active member with CMTBC. She has spent the past few years working on Vancouver island but has returned back to Whitehorse, a community she was born and raised in.

Kiana creates an individualized treatment plan for each client to help reach their goals. Her styles of treatment include deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, myofascial release and general Swedish techniques.

Hi Everyone,

As some of you may have heard, along with Chiros, Physios, Occupational Therapists, Osteopaths, Naturopaths and Accupuncturists we have been given the go ahead to open our clinics from Dr Hanley, CMOH for the Yukon.
We have been given Interim Guidelines which we must adhere to for the safety of you, our clients as well as for us, as practitioners.
We will be reaching out via email and here to let you know our next steps and when online booking is open again!

To our Hand Prints Collective Wellness Clients,

As some of you may have heard, the Yukon’s Chief Medical Officer; Dr Hanley, announced the mandatory closure of Massage Therapy Clinics for Wednesday March 25, 2020 - Although we had proactively closed Hand Prints the week earlier, it was difficult news to hear. Our work connects us with you, our clients. We are confident Dr Hanley’s decision was not made lightly, and appreciate his action on keeping our community as healthy as possible at this unprecedented time.

As we will continue to follow the instructions from our CMO for social spacing, when we can reopen is an undetermined time frame. For those clients who have existing appointments with us -

All appointments will be moved ahead by four weeks.

Appointment confirmations of the reschedule times will be sent, and if the new time or day isn’t compatible please reply to the rescheduled appointment emails. If after those four weeks the Massage Therapy clinics are still mandated closed, we will reassess, be in communication with each client and reschedule, again.

For those of you on the front lines of essential services, we thank you.
For those of you in the background supporting the essential services, we thank you.
For those of you at home with yourself, your families and self isolating, we thank you.

While we all continue to manage and stay informed of the unfolding medical and economic news surrounding the COVID - 19 here is our update.

In order to be part of the change for flattening the curve we will be temporarily closed until
Monday, March 30, 2020*

*longer if it is suggested by our Chief Medical Officer of the Yukon.

We are a trio of self employed therapists, these times of economic uncertainty have us weighing the reality to provide for our families financially and also be socially responsible.

We have always and will continue to provide a clean clinic which provides a safe environment for our clients, our therapists and their families.

Thank you to our clients, it continues to be a pleasure that we are part of your wellness and recovery journeys.

If throughout this time of social distancing and isolation you are in need of assistance in pick ups or drop offs - groceries, medicines, supplies, etc -
