On Friday, January 9, Delta Coop locations kicked off the The Great Pail Sale and our communities showed up in a big way!

For every pail sold, $5 was donated to the local fire departments who keep our communities safe. When our communities support us, we’re proud to give that support right back.

Today, Craig and Curtis from Delta Coop dropped by WDFD to hand Fire Chief Randy Elder a $1,500 cheque, all thanks to YOU! 🚒🔥

From shopping local to supporting local heroes, now that is what community is all about.

The Wilkie District Fire Association Board Chair Gary Neigum and the Wilkie District Fire Department are honoured to present Chief Randy Elder with the Canadian Volunteer Fire Services Medal, in recognition of an individual whose remarkable achievements in the fire service and the community, exemplify outstanding performance of forty (40) or more years of dedicated service, and exceptional commitment to the volunteer fire service.

Chief Elder’s commitment, leadership, and tireless efforts have been instrumental in shaping the Wilkie District Fire Department. His contributions have laid a strong foundation for the Department’s continued success, and we are profoundly grateful for the enduring legacy he has created.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to all volunteer firefighters whose dedication and sacrifices make a meaningful difference in the safety and well-being of our communities.
