Dear patients & friends,

Just a few quick updates.

🎅 HOLIDAY CLOSURE - It will be just myself in the clinic, starting December 20, until January 8, while Dr. Steyl is on holiday. The clinic will be closed December 25 and 26, and then again on January 1 and 2.

📧 FB MESSAGE ISSUES - The issue mentioned in my previous post, whatever was happening, seems to have resolved itself. Once again, Facebook was absolutely no help in solving this problem.

📲 TEXT REMINDERS - Starting in the new year, I am going to be getting the capability of sending out text reminders, for appointments and if you need follow up. You will also be able to schedule your own appointments through a web portal. I will post more information regarding this when the dates are confirmed.

Dear patients & friends,

Just a quick little update for you all.

🌺 Dr. Steyl will be taking some time off in August, so she can recover from some minor surgery that she's having. If your appointment has been affected by this, I will be in contact over the next few business days to reschedule it. I apologize for the inconvenience this causes.

📞 Our phone will be down on August 6th, between 9:00 AM and noon, for a system security upgrade. I will be in the office during this time, so if you need to reach me, you can through email or by messaging through this page. Otherwise, as long as nothing goes wrong (fingers crossed), our phone should be back on in the afternoon.

📲 I am still having issues with Facebook and returning messages. If I drop off in the middle of a conversation, please know that I am not ignoring you, it's just that Facebook has declined to allow my reply to go through. Sometimes if I wait an hour or two, sometimes a couple of days, it will miraculously allow it to go through. In the even that it doesn't, I will call you instead if I am unable to finish our conversation.

Dear patients & friends,

Just a quick update for you all.

🌺 Dr. Steyl will be taking her summer holidays from July 1st to July 10th this year.

🌺 Dr. Steyl's in-clinic availability continues to be very limited due to her emergency room schedule. Because of this, the wait time for an appointment is longer than it normally would be (currently the wait time is about four weeks). I apologize for the inconvenience of this. Currently I am booking for the last week of May, so please call and book sooner rather than later. Going forward into June, I'm going to be trying a different way of scheduling that will hopefully accommodate everyone better and in a more timely manner.

🌺 Facebook is no longer allowing me to send out appointment confirmations and reminders. They've replaced the button with a different option that isn't relevant because I'm not selling anything, and everything I've tried to do to fix it, just loops me back to the ad centre. Please still message me to book appointments if you like, just be aware that I can no longer send confirmations and reminders as before.

Just a quick little update to let you know that the clinic will be closed Friday, February 16th and Monday, February 19th, for the Family Day long weekend.

Also, Dr. Steyl will be going on holiday from February 24th until March 13th. I am currently booking for the end of March.
