It’s McHappy Day — and today is all about showing up for families in our community.

We’re on site at McDonald’s today with activities for kids, including an obstacle course, and it’s been such a fun way to connect with everyone coming through!

When you grab a meal today, you’re helping support Ronald McDonald House Charities and the Cariboo Chilcotin Child Development Centre — every purchase makes a difference.
There’s still time to stop by, bring the kids, and be part of it.

Thanks so much for your support ❤

McHappy Day is today, Wednesday May 6!

Every purchase at the Williams Lake McDonald’s today helps make a difference.
You can support McHappy Day by ordering your favourite meal, making a donation, or picking up a pair of McDonald’s character socks for $6 plus tax.

The Cariboo Chilcotin Child Development Centre will also be on site with an obstacle course and activities for kids.

This year, donation proceeds will support Ronald McDonald House Charities and the Cariboo Chilcotin Child Development Centre, helping children, youth, and families right here in our region.

Thank you for showing up for families in our community.

This is so helpful for all parents/caregivers of youth! Please help spread the word

It's today! Grab a friend, family member or come on your own, but please take the time to find out what tips Nick has to share that will help you foster connection with your teen/youth.

____________

Happening tomorrow!

Big emotions don’t come with instructions — for youth or for parents/caregivers.

If you’ve ever found yourself unsure what to say or do in those moments, this upcoming session at Foundry offers a chance to explore that together.

Advanced Caregiving (EFFT) focuses on understanding how youth experience emotions and how caregivers can respond in ways that support, not escalate.

Wednesday, April 29 | 5:00–6:30 pm | Foundry Cariboo Chilcotin
Led by Nick Astle, Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC).

You don’t need to have attended any previous sessions — each one stands on its own.

We hope you join us!

Thank you to the Williams Lake Trail Riders Association for helping make this incredible program happen each year and for the Lakers Car Club generosity in helping fund it. Thank you also to the Williams lake Tribune for chronicling the impact that this program has on all involved. This is truly a community fueled program and we couldn't do it alone.
