WDMH Foundation - WDMHF We work closely with the Winchester District Memorial Hospital and Dundas Manor teams to raise funds in support of health care close to home.

Purchasing medical equipment and building a new Dundas Manor Long-Term Care Home are our priorities. We are extremely grateful to our friends who support our projects with gifts of cash, securities and bequests as well as gifts-in-kind, services and the many, many volunteer hours!

✨ Speaker Spotlight: Heather Ebbs ✨

We are honoured to welcome Heather Ebbs to the EmpowHER Afternoon Tea as part of our women’s heart health program.
Heather is a Community Advocate for women’s heart health, certified by the Canadian Women’s Heart Health Centre of the University of Ottawa Heart Institute. She is also a peer leader in the Centre’s Women@Heart Program, a member of the Canadian Women’s Heart Health Alliance , and co-administrator of a Facebook group supporting women and men who have experienced spontaneous coronary artery dissection, also known as SCAD.

A former editor, indexer, writer, and teacher, Heather brings knowledge, compassion, and lived understanding to this important conversation.

Join us as we shine a light on women’s heart health, connection, and the power of sharing stories that can help others feel informed, supported, and less alone.

Erin & Cindy joined members of the RHI board of directors for a tour of the new Dundas Manor today!

Work is progressing every day - so much to see! 🤩 Crews are onsite prepping the parking lot this week. And check out that new concrete walkway to the entrance behind us!

And the space is set for the new Donor Wall - recognizing donors who have contributed $10,000 or more to the new home! This will be a digital donor wall, and will have space for news, stories and events too!

Our fundraising efforts continue as we inch towards our goal - with our generous communities donating $15.5 million so far!!
