It's residents council week! Our home started celebrating last Friday. We had Beverly kicked off the week-long event with an hour of awesome singing performance!🎤🎙🎵🎼
She dedicated her performance to our hardworking residents council members and leaders! Coffee and donuts were shared too among residents and team members!❤️

It's an honour to have councillor Renaldo Agostino back at Berkshire for the OLTC Community Engagement Day! The Q and A part of the event was able to tackle the challenges that our home encounters and how he can advocate for our residents and team members. It was an amazing coffee social and advocacy day full of promising future for our home!

Today, we had our first intergenerational event in years. We want to thank our residents, team members and their families for coming, Windsor-Essex Muslim Homeschoolers for joining us and of course, Zoo2you for this amazing opportunity to learn more about animals. The kids and kids-at-heart truly enjoyed the family fun day 💯% ❤️🦎🦘🦜🫶

And for a day, we felt like millionaires enjoying the casino games! Our residents did not just spend some money, they made new memories to laugh about! Thank you Ceasars Casino. Our next trip??? The winery!!! ❤️🙏🥂🍷

We would like to invite you for an intergenerational event this coming August 27th. Kindly inform Darlyn if you have kids who would love to participate. This event will bring beautiful people of different generations together. It will create meaningful interactions and community-building fostering positive relationships between different age groups. We will have students from Windsor-Essex Muslim Homeschoolers come to our home. We will also have animal visitors from Zoo2You for one fun day!!🦘🦎🐦🦜

It's Elvis Week! We have a huge Elvis Presley fan base at Berkshire. Every year, our home celebrates it by having Norm "Elvis" Ackland perform for our residents and team members. It's always a huge hit! 🎸🎼🎵

Our home is VR ready! The residents can travel anytime and as they do, each has a passport we can stamp for a country visited. They can also play detectives in one of our VR games. How awesome is that!!❤️👨‍💻👩‍💻

What an amazing day! Our residents got to play Bingo at a nearby gaming centre. They were treated like VIPs for a day of amusement and fun. The question they raised after was when will be the next one.😊😅😍❤️

Our Canada day celebration yesterday was continued with a mini concert! Our residents who were not able to join us in the parade attended a live music courtesy of The Happy Duo! 🇨🇦🍁
