One exercise I often recommend to my patients for their core? Pelvic tilts.

It is simple, gentle, and easy to add to your daily routine, but it can make a big difference in how your body supports and moves your spine. 👇

➡️ They activate the deep core muscles
Pelvic tilts help engage the deep abdominal muscles and pelvic floor that support the spine and pelvis.

➡️ They improve coordination between the core and pelvic floor
The movement encourages these muscles to work together with breathing, which is important for everyday function.

➡️ They increase awareness of pelvic and spinal movement
Many people are not aware of how their pelvis and lower back move. Pelvic tilts help develop that awareness.

➡️ They reduce stiffness in the lower back and pelvis
Gentle, controlled motion can help relieve tension that builds up from sitting or staying in one position too long.

➡️ They support better posture and movement patterns
Learning how to control the pelvis can translate into safer bending, lifting, and daily activities.

Sometimes the most helpful exercises are the simplest ones. Doing small movements like this consistently can go a long way in supporting your spine and overall movement. ✨
