Sandra lost 15 pounds, and got STRONGER 💪💪 Here’s her story ⬇️
Her younger self was very active 💃 but at some point along the way it stopped.
So she joined LIFT about 9 months ago to start her strength training journey.
She immediately dove in, showing up consistently with a smile 😁 and a can-do attitude 👍
But around the 4-ish month mark, she felt amazing but still didn’t feel that she looked like herself.
And she wanted that back.
It was hard for her, but she sat down and asked us for help with not only her particular dietary needs,
but also help managing the narratives around her history with food.
So a plan was devised 📖📊
She was able to eat many of the usual foods she always enjoyed - with more focus on hitting over 130 grams of protein each day,
slightly higher fat intake,
and being more mindful of the not-so-good foods.
In the first weeks, the accountability to us kept her motivated.
We tracked her weight, but more importantly, her inches, to show objective progress.
Once the inches started to fall off, the results kept her motivated to keep going week after week.
Along the way, she was reminded of the importance of self-love; to face challenges, fail, get up, show up, keep going - and to keep growing!
At the end of January she hit the 15 pound weight loss mark - and on top of that, 2 inches off of her waist, 3 inches off her hips, and 2 inches off her thighs. 📈 Legit!
And she stayed STRONG, increasing her weights on her exercises and staying STRONG along the way.

Meaning, lots of advice can be great, but it’s following through is most important.
