One of the most common things I hear during consultations is:

“My skin has been so sensitive lately.”
“My cheeks are always red.”
“Everything seems to irritate my skin.”

Redness and sensitivity are often signs that the skin barrier has been compromised. When the barrier is weakened, skin becomes more reactive, dehydrated, and easily irritated by ingredients, weather changes, or over-treating the skin.

During consultations, we take the time to identify what your skin is actually telling us. From there, I guide you through the right combination of treatments and home care to rebuild and strengthen the barrier.

Often this means focusing on calming, restorative treatments and supportive skincare that helps the skin heal before introducing more active treatments.

“My skin is very sensitive.”

This is one of the most common things I hear during client consultations. But most of the time, skin isn’t truly sensitive — it’s actually a compromised skin barrier.

When the barrier becomes weakened, skin can react with:
• redness
• irritation or burning
• dryness and tightness
• breakouts or inflammation

This can happen from over-exfoliating, using too many active ingredients, environmental stress, dehydration, or simply using products that aren’t right for your skin.

During consultations, my goal is to look deeper at why the skin is reacting and create a plan to rebuild and strengthen the barrier.

Healthy skin starts with:

✨ simplifying and correcting skincare
✨ introducing treatments at the right time
✨ consistency with professional guidance
