This authentic custom-framed portrait of Danny Thomas was originally displayed in the lobby of the historic Elmwood Casino.

As Brentwood prepares to celebrate this 80th Anniversary, this portrait helps tell the story of the building’s entertainment legacy and the many well-known performers connected to its past.

For collectors, fans of classic entertainment, or anyone who values local history, this is a rare opportunity to own a meaningful piece from the original Elmwood Casino experience.

The portrait will also be on display at the gala for guests to view in person and bid on.

This is a sealed bid auction item.

The RONA Foundation is launching its annual Build from the Heart campaign, which aims to collect funds to financially support 7 construction or major renovation projects across Canada!

In Ontario, the selected organization is:

Brentwood Recovery Home

Mission: Addiction treatment center that provides lifelong, compassionate and evidence-informed treatment to people whose primary goal is lifelong recovery from alcohol and drug misuse.

Project: Build 2 fully accessible transitional housing of 3 beds each, along with a new laundry service and an outdoor wheelchair-accessible trail.
Goal: $300,000

The Elmwood Casino Gala Online Silent Auction is Now Open!

As part of 80th Anniversary Fundraising Gala, our online silent auction is officially open and ready for bidding.

This year’s gala is a special flashback to the historic Elmwood Casino, which first opened 80 years ago and became one of Windsor’s most memorable entertainment landmarks.

Today, Brentwood is located in the former Elmwood Casino building. This event is an opportunity to celebrate the history, tradition, and importance of this building while raising funds to support the life-changing programs at Brentwood Recovery Home.

By bidding on auction items, you are helping Brentwood continue its work supporting individuals and families on the road to recovery.
