What to do in between intervals ..... nothing, cause you're brain does it for you.

Sometimes, the breaks in-between training intervals at Platypus METT may appear to be lost time, but fear not .... your brain is making use of those minutes by running through the movement. Rest periods automatically re-enforce your conscious effort at learning and improving.

So, we encourage you to resist the urge to get busy on your cell phone, but to instead just relax and let the brain do its work.

This high-speed instant replay in the brain during breaks in learning is thought to amplify a person's ability to pick up a new skill.

As many of you know, I have been talking about the importance of Vitamin D supplementation for many years. In my experience, there is no healing possible with low levels of Vitamin D. Most people in the Northern hemisphere suffer from lack of Vitamin D in some way. Sometimes that is more and sometimes less noticeable.

This collection of studies highlights the importance of Vitamin D for our ability to cope with COVID-19 infections.

https://examine.com/nutrition/covid-19-vitamin-d/

Mechanistic and observational evidence suggests that COVID-19 is less severe in people with adequate vitamin D levels. Vitamin D supplementation seems to help prevent COVID-19 complications, but only two randomized trials have been conducted thus far. Additional research is ongoing.
