Each year HDGH employees and physicians quietly and graciously donate towards the Holiday Sponsorship program at our Regional Children's Centre.

This year, 27 families who receive care through RCC were sponsored. While our teams sponsor families out of the goodness of their hearts, we want to take a moment to say THANK YOU to all those who participated in donating, shopping, organizing, and wrapping gifts that made their way to those in need. When Tate first arrived at HDGH's Regional Children's Centre, he was an "angry bear" who needed constant supervision and support to keep himself and those around him safe.
The kid who walked out of RCC's Intensive Treatment Services was transformed - with the coping skills and wrap around supports to help manage any challenging situation he and his family may face.

UPDATE: The issues with 911 phone service have been resolved.

Bell has notified us that residents in the 519 area code are experiencing issues when calling 911 from a landline, resulting in a busy signal. Further, when calling from a cell phone, there may be a lengthy delay in connecting to 911. If you are in the County of Essex, the City of Windsor or on Pelee Island and require an ambulance, but are experiencing issues reaching 911, please call 1-800-265-5840. Bell has confirmed that they are working on correcting the issue.
