🧦💙 Rock Your Socks for World Down Syndrome Day (March 21)!

Our team proudly joined the global celebration of World Down Syndrome Day by rocking our most colourful, mismatched socks, because different is beautiful, and diversity makes our community stronger.

Did you know? March 21 (3/21) was chosen to represent the trisomy of the 21st chromosome, which causes Down syndrome, making this day a powerful symbol of awareness, acceptance, and inclusion.

From bold patterns to bright colours, each pair of socks is a reminder that inclusion, acceptance, and belonging matter not just today, but every day. 💛

At the John McGivney Children’s Centre, we are proud to support children and youth of all abilities, and to celebrate the unique strengths and perspectives that make each individual shine.
